Mercedes have launched their new fully electric SUV in the form of the EQC. GKL were delighted to welcome Mercedes to our new premises in Princes Risborough to showcase this all new electric vehicle.
The vehicle on demo was the 1886 edition which relates to the start of the Mercedes empire. This particular vehicle was in High Tech Silver and offered 4Matic All wheel drive. The 1886 is very much the launch edition and features the very top spec with everything and more than you could wish for!
The EQC has a range of 259 miles (WLTP) and although has only a 80 Kw battery it has the same useable amount as a 94 Kw battery. It is capable of 0-62 in 5.1 seconds and has a top speed of 111 mph.
The EQC is very similar in size to the current Mercedes GLC range and has a generous amount of space onboard

£85,000 for the launch edition 1886
Charging wise the EQChas a 7.4 Kw for AC charging – although this will increase next year and 110 Kw DC charging capability.
With DC charging the EQCcan charge from 10%-80% in 40 minutes
Coupled with the Mercedes App and Mercedes ME you will be able to identify where the charging stations are and if being used and also the range from a map of where you can make on you charge, taking into consideration the terrain.
